Hi everyone, I decided to share a word of caution from my latest experience flying out of Amsterdam on what came across as a really bargain ticket. After reserving, I was caught off guard to see hidden charges for checked baggage and even seat selection added to my final bill. These add-ons were not clearly mentioned during booking, and I only found out about them when I received my receipts and airline policies later on last minute flights from lisbon . It’s annoying because what looks like a steal ends up costing quite a bit more. If you’re flying from Amsterdam on budget airlines, I’d urge double-checking their baggage and seating fees upfront to avoid awful surprises. Has anyone found useful strategies to spot or avoid these hidden costs? Would love to hear your tips.
